ages 12+ years
This class continues focusing on strength, control, and performance quality. Dancers refine their understanding of ballet vocabulary, musicality, and posture while building confidence and artistry. We follow the IDTA syllabus and offer optional exams in a supportive and encouraging environment.

INTERMEDIATE BALLET
ages 14+ years
This class is designed for experienced dancers working towards the IDTA Intermediate Performers Ballet examination, a vocational-level qualification. It focuses on advancing classical technique, artistry, and performance skills to a high standard. Dancers develop greater strength, flexibility, precision, and expression through more complex exercises, enchaînements.

INTER ACROBATICS
This class combines dance and gymnastic elements, helping students develop strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Dancers learn acrobatic skills such as handstands, cartwheels, and bridges, walk overs, progressing at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment.

First class dance tuition. My daughter has been coming for 3 years now, and really enjoys her ballet, tap and modern classes. She always comes out with a smile on her face, and has grown in confidence and ability since she started. Charlotte and her team work hard with all their pupils to help them enjoy dance and improve week by week. We love watching their performances and shows.

Can my child try a class before enrolling?
Absolutely! We offer two week trials, just click on book a class and you will be given the option to book a trial
What should my child wear to class?
We do have uniform but to start with comfy clothes, bare feet for Ballet and Modern, outdoor shoes for tap! (we do have a spares box that may have a pair of tap shoes to fit!).
Do you hold performances or showcases?
At SDA we love performing! We perform at local events, Pantomimes, and hold a bi-annual show.
